Victor Barron is a gifted presenter and team leader, a Management and Educational consultant with Certification
in Adult Education from St. Francis Xavier University and from Achieve Global (Zenger Miller) as a qualified
trainer in management, business and interpersonal relations. He has clinical certification in Critical
Incident Stress Debriefing and Thought Field Therapy.
As a private consultant, he has delivered programs for organizations such as, Department of Fisheries and Oceans,
B.C. Department of Justice, B.C. Ambulance Service, Training and Development Canada, Yukon Territorial Government,
First Nations Emergency Services, Future Shop, Great West Life, CreoScitex and HeliJet.
As a manager, Victor coordinated, developed and delivered pre-hospital care and management programs for several
B.C. communities, including the "First Responder" program, which has had a major impact on pre-hospital care and workman's
compensation legislation in B.C.
His other accomplishments include providing instruction for the University College of the Fraser Valley and University of BC,
authoring several training manuals, teaching, and initiating highly cost-effective business training and assessment programs and
serving as the team leader for a crisis intervention team.
Victor is active in community development initiatives, including Community Access to Education and Training Committee,
Chambers of Commerce, and the Fraser Valley Education and Training Planning Committee, and as Vice-President of the
Community Skills Centre Society (Policy Committee Chairperson). He is a member of ASPECT, (B.C.'s network of community trainers),
Canadian Critical Incident Stress Foundation (CCISF) and a volunteer caseworker for RCMP Victim Services in Mission.
Victor's prime assets are his skills in leadership, team building, problem solving and facilitation. He excels in developing in
others, the management and interpersonal skills so important to entrepreneurs and corporate managers today...for motivating and
managing change, resolving conflicts, and turning around poorly performing employees.
What makes his counsel so effective and relevant for today's business needs is his ongoing involvement in building strong
teams and motivating people. He is able to communicate the strategies and techniques necessary to implement change, including
the upgrading of skills, and setting and achieving personal, corporate and community goals.
